Ratz abandoning ship

Sixth Estate celebrates Pope Benedict XVI’s tenure.
I hadn't realized Bennie had annointed two Canadians to sainthood for performing miracles - one of which involved a cure consisting of prayer and antibiotics. Heh. Go.

DAMMIT JANET! does the Best of Bennie.

Oh heh let's start a rumour. The Knights of Malta ordered him to quit because he should not be around when the Gospel of Barnabas spreads throughout the world. So far Turkey has not allowed the Vatican to examine the Barnabas texts found in 2000.

Thank you, thank you very much.

Dana! Not at all and most pleased to have amused you.
I suppose it's a bit late now for me to admit you were right about everything political after all, isn't it?

HA KNEW IT! Pope's last act. Approves Vatican Bank head as Ernst von Freyberg, who happens to Chair Blohm&Voss, military ship construction. But it's okay coz von Freyberg is a member of Order of Malta and organizes Lourdes visits.

Okay that was just a tease, here's the real deal. http://itccs.org/2013/02/14/pope-benedict-to-seek-immunity-and-protection-from-italian-president-giorgio-napolitano-on-february-23/
Rev. Annett and his delegation will be working with organizations across Italy in this investigation. In 2009 and 2010, he held rallies outside the Vatican and met with media and human rights groups across Italy to charge the Vatican with the death of more than 50,000 aboriginal children in Canada.
