"With a little help from his "friends"

Pale at A Creative Revolution points out Harper's "friends" aren't getting near enough credit here.

I thought Harper's gala gig was pretty cute. Maybe not as gutsy as Jack Layton's "Party For Sale or Rent" from 2005 and rather more in the Con tradition of Muldoon and Reagan's "When Irish Eyes are Smiling", but still - pretty cute.

Heh. Well done.
Too much fuss is being made about how Harper's "performance"humanized him. Hell, we already know he's human - petty, insular, divisive, mean-spirited, small-minded, bigbiz-supportin', US-toadying, woman-hating, maybe - all too human in fact.

That video is perfect, I steal it now. Great job "Pale".

Don't you find it odd that none of the MSM or the radical-right-wing has made an issue of one of the repeated lines of the referenced tune?

"I get high with a little help from my friends."

It appears to be a ringing endorsement of drug use to me.

heh, heh, heh . . . .
