No man is a peninsula

"Peter MacKay, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, might want to bone up on his geography. In remarks to CTV about the nuclear threat from North Korea, he said:
"I think it will take a great deal of focus around the island."

He was talking about focusing on Bowen Isle. I'll slip a file in your birthday cake ;-)

Hi, I'm back. Dya miss me? :)

Personally I'm hoping he'll also want to rename that little police action the US was involved in over there 55 years ago the "Freedom War". You know, really stick it to 'em.

What is really sad is he represents a riding in a Province whose capital city is on a peninsula as well as the Province itself being a peninsula. Classic MacKay ignorance/stupidity in action yet again.
